It’s been a little while since the last Kairosoft game on Nintendo Switch, but Final Frontier Story is launching next week. According to a Nintendo eShop listing, we’re getting it on November 6, 2025.
Keeping in line with other Kairosoft games, Final Frontier Story is a sim experience. This time around, you’ll build an intergalactic city in the cold vacuum of space.

Build your very own warm and friendly intergalactic city in the cold vacuum of space! Expect close encounters of the third, fourth, and maybe even fifth kind!
Aim to become the most desirable city in the galaxy by developing land so you can build shops and bases for your residents to live in comfort. Build Convenience Stores and Parks to make daily life easier, or Takoyaki Stalls and Cinemas to bring in tourists and keep people entertained. Find the perfect combination of facilities to astronomically boost the city’s charm.
As you explore your new world, you’ll encounter all kinds of monsters native to the planet. Stay one step ahead of them by upgrading your Fighter Aircraft and training up your pilots. And who knows, maybe you’ll even make a few new friends along the way! With the help of your newfound alien friends, hold outdoor events to bring in tourists from all over the galaxy!
Utilize a state-of-the-art autopilot system to help you fight through grueling space battles. You can also give orders to your pilots to guide them to glorious victory.
