New York-based designer Ashlynn Park is the winner of the 2025 CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund.
The designer, a veteran pattern-maker whose resume includes stints at Yohji Yamamoto, Calvin Klein and Alexander Wang, is on a winning streak, having picked up the CFDAâs emerging designer of the year award just last week. She founded her label Ashlyn, which focuses on sleek, understated pieces with subtle embellishments, in 2019.
Julian Louie, the designer of Aubero, and Stephanie Suberville of Heirlome were the runners up. Park will receive $300,000, while Louie and Suberville will receive $100,000. All the designers will also be offered mentorships.
Model Alex Consani made the announcement at a dinner on Monday hosted by Isha Ambani, director of Indiaâs Reliance Retail; designer Zac Posen; Anna Wintour, Condé Nast chief content officer and Vogue global editorial director and newly appointed Vogue US head of editorial Chloe Malle at The Crane Club in New York.
The other finalists were Bach Mai; Bernard James; Donât Let Disco designer Ashley Moubayed; Gabe Gordon and Tim Gibbons of Gabe Gordon; Jamie Okuma; Meruert Tolegen and Peter Do.
âWe just saw Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez, the winners of our very first CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund back in 2004, triumph with their Loewe debut in Paris ⦠I am just as excited and optimistic about how far this yearâs finalists will go,â said Wintour in a statement.
