An e-bike operator heading the wrong way on a Manhattan street Friday morning slammed into a 59-year-old woman then fled the scene.
The collision happened about 7:38 a.m. at 2nd Ave. and E. 38th St. in Murray Hill.

The victim was knocked unconscious by the impact.
She was rushed by medics to Bellevue Hospital in critical condition with traumatic head and body injuries.
Police said the suspect was heading north on the avenue, which runs southbound when the collision happened.
