A man who went viral last year when he was caught on camera smashing up a Manhattan McDonald’s with a hatchet was hurt by a hit-and-run driver while biking on Fifth Ave., new video shows.

Michael Palacios and his dog Simba were riding a cargo bike on Fifth Ave. near Rockefeller Center when he was clipped from behind by an SUV driver at E. 50th St. about 4:40 p.m. Friday, video he shared on his Instagram page shows.

A video of Palacios went viral back in September when he busted up a Lower East Side McDonald’s with a small axe in a clash with three men.

“Simba and I were riding down Fifth Ave. and a bad driver rammed us from behind, almost running Simba over and than fleeing the scene,” Palacios, 32, wrote on a GoFundMe post looking for donations to replace his mangled bicycle.

The driver rammed the back of his bicycle, the video shows. Simba was on the bike as well but jumped off and scampered away.

The SUV driver stopped but drove off once Palacios got up, weaving around the dog. In an update to his GoFundMe post, Palacios said he was taking Simba to the vet to see if the pooch suffered any injuries from the crash.

Palacios apparently had words with the driver prior to the crash.

“I told a bad driver he drives like s–t,” Palacios said on Instagram. “I proceeded and he rammed me from behind. And yes, he knew Simba was on the bike.”

“When this is over he’s going to be calling his baby moms from [Rikers] and I’m buying a house for myself and my family,” he added.

Palacios suffered a minor leg injury during the crash, which was treated at the scene, according to an NYPD spokesman. No arrests have been made.

The cargo bike, which Palacios uses to make deliveries, suffered most of the damage, he said.

“The great thing about cargo bikes is they receive 90% of the impact. I don’t attach Simba to the bike so he’s free to go in a safe direction,” he wrote.

The crash wasn’t the first time Palacios has appeared in a viral video.

Shocking video shared on Tik Tok and other social media platforms show the Bronx resident getting into an argument with three men, who attack him inside the McDonalds near the entrance to the Williamsburg Bridge on Delancey St. and Essex St.

Palacios did not return the blows, opting to stand ramrod straight against a garbage can and brace against the assault, the video shows.

“I’m still standing here,” he said to his assailants as they backed away.

A moment later, Palacios pulled a black hatchet with a wooden handle out of his backpack.

“Bro! Please!” one of his attackers said when he saw the hatchet and backed away.

Wielding his weapon, Palacios shattered a restaurant table as he advanced towards the men he was arguing with. He then slammed the axe into a wall and smashed a glass divider as he charged his rivals.

At least one of his targets run into a bathroom with a woman.

Cops arrested Palacios at the scene and charged him with criminal mischief, menacing and criminal possession of a weapon.

During his arraignment, a Manhattan Criminal Court judge ordered Palacios released without bail since none of the charges he faced were bail eligible.
