Although I usually tag along on trips to Costco strictly for the food court’s fro-yo (true story), the store is an obvious goldmine, harboring anything and everything that you can imagine. Especially if something you imagine is snacks. There are so many snacks.
How to choose from them all? Here are the snacks Kitchn editors are always loading up on. Our list might inspire you.
“Pistachios are much less expensive at Costco than at my regular grocery store. (Although I’m a new Aldi shopper and need to compare prices now!)” —Patty Catalano, Contributor
“We can go through a bag of these way faster than we probably should. (The serving size is technically five pieces and I eat many more in one sitting.) They’re just so good! The bag says the clusters are 50 percent cashews and that is no lie. Note: These contain cane sugar, rice syrup, and honey, so they’re pretty sweet. But they’re also salty! ” —Lisa Freedman, Lifestyle Director
“Babybel cheeses are such a good deal at Costco, so I always stock up. And, I don’t know if all Costcos carry these, but they have Rustic Bakery Crackers which are SO good as part of a cheese plate.” —Christine Gallary, Food Editor-at-Large
“This jar is ginormous, so I prefer to have a lot of help to eat these salty, sweet snacks. Meaning: I bring a container when I go on vacation with my family. (They keep the hangry-ness at bay.) ” —Lauren Masur, Staff Writer
“These are basically the reason I shop at Costco. Eight cups, filled with perfectly segmented and juicy grapefruit? Done. Sure, I could cut up grapefruit myself, but I don’t. These are the perfect 100-calorie fruit serving to go with breakfast or my afternoon snack break” —Faith Durand, Editor-in-Chief
