The best Scorestreak combinations in Call of Duty: Black Ops 7

Choosing the right Scorestreak combination for your skill level can make Black Ops 7 a much more enjoyable experience.

Since the dawn of selectable streaks in Call of Duty, there have been optimal loadouts. The Scorestreaks in Black Ops 7 follow a similar pattern, and there are several different Scorestreak loadouts you can use for easy kills, good XP, and an overall better experience.

Note: This list is based on the multiplayer open beta, which has a limited selection of streaks. We’ll update here on launch when the full complement becomes available.

The best Scorestreak loadouts in Black Ops 7

Which three of the 21 Scorestreaks available in Black Ops 7 you choose will depend on a few factors, but mostly on what you can reasonably attain during a match. The choices for players who can only reliably get a UAV or a Counter UAV will differ from those who can frequently get HKDs.

For my money, the best low-cost Scorestreak setup is a throwback to Black Ops 2: UAV, Counter UAV, and Skewer. It’s relatively easy to get, benefits the whole team, and has a bit of lethality as the cherry on top.

UAVs are, like in all Treyarch games, easy to spawn, and odds are there will almost always be one up. However, if you save your UAV and Counter for your next life, you can call both in and get a head start on your next set of streaks. The combined 10 Score per teammate kill with the UAV+Counter combo can add up quickly.

  • Counter UAV
  • Watchdog Helo/HKDs

If you’re more confident in your slaying skills, you can swap out the Skewer in your loadout for either a Watchdog Helo or HKDS. You’re still keeping the team informed of enemy positions and siphoning Score from their kills, of course, but reach that higher streak, and the enemy team will run in fear. Literally, in some cases.

Which you use between the Watchdog Helo and HKDs is somewhat dependent on the map. If you’re playing something that’s got a lot of indoor space or other cover from the air, stick with HKDs. For the more open maps, the Helo can do work.

  • Watchdog Helo
  • HKDs
  • VTOL Warship

For the beasts among you (and I know you’re out there), this loadout is here to empty lobbies. You’re expecting your teammates to keep the UAVs up and hold down the major sightlines. Once you’ve got the Helo up, the HKDs are soon to follow, and both can rack up additional Score as you continue shredding the enemy team.

When the time comes for the VTOL, don’t expect the opposition to stick around. No one likes getting minced.

Of the three loadouts we’re presenting today, this one is the most likely to change based on the launch streaks. I’d wager the HARP could go here, as would the Legion as your ultimate, with maybe EMP in between. Those two fire-and-forget streaks are all about gaining or denying information, and the Legion is mostly for aura farming. Most teams leave when they can’t even spawn in.

Those are the three Scorestreak loadouts I recommend at low, middle, and high costs. Even if you’re a lower-skill player, you can always try for the higher-value streaks. You never know.

John’s been gaming for almost 30 years, starting with Super Mario 64, but his first real love is Final Fantasy. Or Armored Core, depending on how he slept last night. If you want to know where to find an item in a massive open world or how to beat a boss, he can help. They’ve probably kicked his teeth in a few times already. You can normally find him eyes deep in the latest FromSoftware game if he isn’t doing dailies in the half-dozen live service games he plays. He can be found on BlueSky.
