Jason Connell and Adrian Bentley will become the new Sucker Punch studio heads in 2026.
A major leadership change is coming to one of Sony’s first-party studios as Brian Fleming is leaving Sucker Punch Productions. A co-founder of the studio behind Ghost of Yotei, Fleming will hand off leadership duties to Jason Connell and Adrian Bentley. Fleming will remain with Sucker Punch through early 2026 to help with the transition process.
Sony announced that Brian Fleming will be stepping down from his position at Sucker Punch Productions in a new blog post. His successors, Jason Connell and Adrian Bentley, served as Co-Creative Director and Technical Director on the Ghost series, respectively. They’ll take over as studio heads on January 1, 2026.

In a LinkedIn post, Brian Fleming confirmed that he’ll stay with Sucker Punch through April of 2026 to help with the transition process. Interestingly, Fleming also floats the idea that his work in games isn’t quite done.
Brian Fleming’s departure comes shortly after the launch of Ghost of Yotei, which received critical acclaim. Fleming also oversaw the releases of the Infamous and Sly Cooper video games.
