OpTic Gaming is throwing on a massive $150K MW3 Tournament, and the action starts tonight. Here’s everything you need to know.

To celebrate the launch of Modern Warfare 3, OpTic Gaming and Activision have teamed up for a month-long Search & Destroy Tournament with a whopping $150,000 in prize money up for grabs.
Tournament Format
There will be 16 teams, split between two divisions, who will duke it out all month long with the other teams in their respective divisions. The Tournament will use the standard Round Robin format. The top two teams from each division will face off in the Divisional Championships.
After the conclusion of the Division Finals, all 16 teams will compete in the Finals to determine which team will become the GGCS Champions.
The first round of matches begins today at 7 PM CST. They will continue tomorrow and pick up again a week later, on November 19 and November 20.
The Finals will go down on November 27 and 28.
Prize Money
Each Divisional Championship will have $20,000 up for grabs. $100,000 will be on the line for The Finals.
The remaining $10K will go to whoever has the best clip throughout the Tournament.
