The character-driven action game Duet Night Abyss has just launched, and there are plenty of questions to answer. One thing you might see regularly if you have just jumped into the game is a message advising you that certain items can only be used once Cover Commissions have been unlocked. In this guide, we will show you how to do just that.
How to unlock Covert Commissions in Duet Night Abyss
To unlock Covert Commissions, play through the game until you complete a side quest called “Go, Geniemons.” For this quest, go and chat with Snow in Sanctuary, then you need to make your way to the Lamenting Lake to look for a large enemy. You will end up finding a Geniemon and learning how they work, and directly after that, you will be able to access Covert Commissions.
Now, these allow you to target farm for specific characters and weapons, as long as you have their secret letter, and you will be able to purchase Secret Letters using Secret Letter Clues in the Covert Commissions tab that will have been added to the shop. When you wish to start a Covert Commission, you can do so from the relevant tab in the Combat menu.
Now, these will start at Level 40, so you will need to upgrade your character to be strong enough before you can dive in, and don’t forget to upgrade your weapons and Demon Wedges as well, all of which can be done via the Armory.
