How to fast travel in Soulframe

Soulframe players have been eager for one feature for a while: fast travel. There can be a lot of walking around the map, and while this sedate pace is clearly part of the design philosophy of these early preludes, the developers recently added a fast travel option, although it does come with some limitations. 

How to fast travel in Soulframe

To fast travel, you need to use Wevetseeds. Open your map, click on a World Tree, and expend a Wevetseed to travel to it. Needless to say, there are things that you might not know about the game, such as how to get Wevetseeds or what World Trees are. 

World Trees are large, corrupted trees that are spread all around the map. You can find all their locations in this World Tree guide. Interacting with them will remove the corruption and also the fog that shrouds the nearby region on the map. As long as you have a Wevetseed, you can then fast travel to the tree, should you wish.

To get Wevetseeds, you need to have completed the Waste Bear quest. During this quest, you help Bromius to overcome the terrible affliction that has driven him to the brink of madness. Upon completion of the quest, he will give you a Wevetseed that will then be planted in your Nightfold camp near Verminia. This will flower, and you can pick one Wevetseed every day.

That’s right, the only spawn once per day, and they are consumed upon use, so fast travel is still a pretty limited feature in Soulframe. You also need to log in to pick the seed; it will not pick itself automatically.
