The first trailer for Re:Zero Season 4 has officially confirmed the anime’s release date window. After Season 3 concluded earlier this year, the trailer has offered a brief look at Subaru Natsuki and Ram in an underground desert. Kadokawa has officially set April 2026 as the broadcast window for Re:Zero Season 4, unveiling a new trailer and key visual during MF Bunko J’s Autumn School Festival 2025. The announcement is the first substantial update on the anime’s return since production was confirmed, giving fans a clearer picture of the series’ next phase.
Alongside the release window, the event introduced Tomokazu Sugita as Reid Astrea. He joins the returning ensemble voice cast, led by Yusuke Kobayashi (Subaru), Rie Takahashi (Emilia), Satomi Arai (Beatrice), Rie Murakawa (Ram), Inori Minase (Rem), Takuya Eguchi (Julius), and Kana Ueda (Anastasia), among others.
Season 4 is once again being developed at WHITE FOX, with Masahiro Shinohara heading the production as director. Masahiro Yokotani oversees the series’ composition, Haruka Sagawa provides the character designs, and Kenichiro Suehiro returns as composer. The adaptation continues to draw from the light novels written by Tappei Nagatsuki.
The series continues Subaru Natsuki’s journey, which began when he was suddenly pulled into a mysterious fantasy world. Confused and alone, he meets a silver-haired girl who becomes his source of support in an unknown setting. Subaru joins her search for a lost item to repay her kindness. However, this pulls him into dangerous encounters and rising political conflicts.
All previous seasons are currently streaming on Crunchyroll. Season 4 is expected to pick up directly after the events of Season 3. Further details, including an exact premiere date and additional casting updates, are expected to be announced closer to the season’s broadcast.
