Relations & Resistance: The 2024 Forum Special 

 

This year’s Forum Special is dedicated to films that show a stance – whether in the 1970s or 2023. Programmed around a documentary core, these films find different, often playful approaches to resisting silence and forgetting. They draw on allies, relationships and intimacy, listen to others and find ways of expressing their own. They are transgenerational, activist-minded, creative and persistent.

Talent Multiplied: The 2024 Participants Have Been Announced, Talents Footprints Jury Selects Sustainability Projects

 

Berlinale Talents welcomes 202 selected filmmakers to Berlin from February 17 to 22, 2024 and connects them with the film industry and the Berlinale audience in numerous talks, workshops and public discussions under the fitting theme “Common Tongues – Speaking Out in the Language of Cinema”. For this year’s Talents from 68 countries, the six days in Berlin will be their introduction to one of the world’s most active film communities with almost 10,000 alumni on all continents.

Selection of Feature Film Projects for Berlinale Co-Production Market Now Finalised

 

The 21st Berlinale Co-Production Market (February 17 to 21) will support 34 feature film projects from all over the world as they look to find suitable co-production and financing partners. This time around, Italy is particularly well-represented, but several promising projects from Germany, Ukraine, Switzerland, Argentina, the United Kingdom, Lithuania, Croatia and Sweden also made the final selection.
