Cruz Beckham Alleges Brother Brooklyn Blocked Their Family During Ongoing Feud

Cruz Beckham is pushing back against what he says are false reports about his family amid speculation regarding their alleged feud.

Rumors swirled online about his parents, soccer star David and Spice Girl Victoria, unfollowing their eldest son, Brooklyn. After a Daily Mail article made the same claims, Cruz put his foot down. Cruz publicly shut down the rumors and said that it was actually the other way around. Brooklyn actually blocked him and their parents.

In an Instagram story, Cruz accused the Daily Mail of misinformation and spreading false rumors about his family. He posted a screenshot of the publication’s inaccurate article with the caption: “NOT TRUE. My mum and dad would never unfollow their son. Let’s get the facts right. They woke up blocked…as did I.“

This also isn’t the first time the Beckham family has feuded with one another. An insider told E! News in the past that the rift may have been triggered by a dramatic incident at Brooklyn and Nicola Peltz Beckham’s wedding in April 2022.

The moment at Brooklyn and Nicola’s wedding that sparked tension within the Beckham family, from the outside looking in, seems like a miscommunication that was blown way out of proportion. Sources told E! News that the couple believed their first dance would be gifted by Marc Anthony. However, he instead invited Victoria to join him on stage and called her “the most beautiful woman in the room.”

This obviously shocked the newlyweds and their guests because the mother of the groom usually shouldn’t be the center of attention during a first dance at a wedding. Brooklyn froze up and didn’t know what to do while Nicola ran out of the room in tears. It is quite unclear how a misunderstanding like this could happen, and, to a lot of brides who are supposed to be having the best day of their lives, it would probably be enough to ruin their special day.

It is important to note that this is all just speculation. And, this being the cause of a feud seems unlikely, despite what “insiders” have said, it seems unlikely. In past interviews that occurred after their wedding, Nicola had called Victoria and David “great in-laws.” Brooklyn also backed up his wife’s statements, stating that the rumors regarding the drama at their wedding were just the press wanting to make his family look bad, so they didn’t fact-check their sources.
