So we love cooking in our house! Like using the stove, finishing in the oven cooking. But as our kids have become older, schedules don’t always allow time for some of the meals we love. We have been looking at pressure cookers for a few years but always pushed it off… “Who needs another gadget in their kitchen… am I right?!?” WRONG! This thing is AMAZING and I don’t say that lightly!
It literally cuts cooking some meals down to 1/4 the time! We have made corned beef for Rubens, corned beef and cabbage, birria for tacos and rice, chicken wings, pot roast, chicken noodle soup, and potato soup (all homemade) and they have come out as good as when we actually cook with the stove!
Honestly, we were hesitant to use it but once we got the hang of it, it a wonderful product. The pressure release is a bit scary at first but all in all, it is a wonderful product for the days you just don’t have time (or the will) to cook. It’s also nice to know that in the summer, the oven won’t be burning up the house!… Win, win!!!
