Ami Colé founder Diarrha NâDiaye has joined Skims as executive vice president of beauty and fragrance, NâDiaye confirmed to The Business of Beauty.
NâDiaye, who previously held roles at Glossier and LâOréal, will work alongside Kim Kardashian on the Skims founderâs latest beauty venture.
NâDiaye founded the inclusive, minimal makeup brand Ami Colé in 2021, which closed earlier this year despite backing from LâOréal, shelf space in Sephora and runaway hits like its lip treatment oil. âNo one had the answer to how to scale a diverse, melanin-rich brand,â NâDiaye told The Business of Beauty.
Kardashian introduced her contour-focused range KKW Beauty in 2017. Coty purchased a majority stake in the brand in 2021, before relaunching the line as Skkn by Kim in 2022. In March of this year, Skims bought back the beauty business from Coty, and confirmed on Alex Cooperâs âCall Her Daddyâ podcast in October that Skims would launch beauty and âbring back what works.â
Skims has been responsible for a number of high-profile launches in 2025, from a Nike collaboration, to a controversial âbush thongâ merkin. There is no official launch date yet for the upcoming beauty and fragrance line, though a 2026 launch seems likely.
