A vandal was caught on video throwing a rock at the glass front door of a Lutheran church in Queens, police said Tuesday.
The bearded assailant threw the rock at the entryway of Grace Lutheran Church on Union Turnpike near 71st Road in Forest Hills from about 15 feet away about 3:55 p.m. Sunday, cops said.
He picked the rock back up to hurl it a second time before leaving it and walking off, surveillance video released by the NYPD shows.
The incident is being investigated as a hate crime.
Police said the glass front door had minor damage.
Cops are asking the public’s help identifying the vandal and tracking him down.
