A smiling stranger punched and kicked a man on a Queens subway platform until he was unconscious, police said Monday.
The 45-year-old victim was waiting for a train at the Jamaica–179th St. station in Jamaica Estates on Oct. 21 when a man approached him around 7 a.m., according to cops.
The man punched the victim in the face, sending him falling to the ground, they said.
Once he was down, the attacker repeatedly punched and kicked the man until he lost consciousness.
The creep took off, leaving his injured victim on the platform.
Medics took the man to Jamaica Hospital Medical Center in stable condition.
Police on Monday released images of the wanted man in the hopes someone may recognize him.
