Here’s a huge find at Costco right now – a new Barolo with a few years of age on it that turned out to be delicious.
So this one is just a few bucks more than the always delicious Kirkland Signature Barolo that we rave about, particularly the latest vintage.
This Barolo is super solid, but if you can still find that 2021 Kirkland Barolo you might want to scoop them up while you can.

The retail price of this Barolo seems to be around $55, and Vivino shows an average price of $35, so that’s one heck of a big discount at Costco for only $24.99.
The wine also received 91 points from Wine Enthusiast and 92 points from James Suckling.
As we get into it, there’s one word that rises above all others, and that’s “elegant.” This is just a soft and delicate wine that is packed with flavor and personality.
A light ruby turning garnet in the glass, bold aromas of dried red fruit, herbs and earth; loads of acidity, super dry, with cherry and raspberry, a touch of mushroom; tobacco and leather notes into the chalky dry finish.

This is a delicious wine with a lot going on at a fantastic Costco price. A nice alternative to the Kirkland Barolo priced similarly and we’re going to score it right up there in the same ballpark. Seek this one out.
