They won’t let you in if you look like you’re there to attack the monks.
After you meet Albich at the start of the Mysteria Ecclesiae DLC for Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, you might run into one little roadblock. If you are all dressed up for war, then Albich will tell you to go and lose the armor, as they won’t let you into the monastery if you look like too much of a threat.
Where to get clothes for the monastery in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2

You might be lucky here and have some clothes in your inventory. If you do, just put them on and make sure that every armor slot is empty. You don’t need to worry about weapons, as they will be taken from you by the guards when you first arrive. You will also find that all armor pieces have been removed from your inventory as well.
If you need to purchase clothes, you can find multiple tailors in Kuttenberg, any of whom will happily sell you clothes, although that will require some gold. Much like previous quests involving clothes, you will also need to wear something on your feet, legs, and torso so that you don’t look like a vagabond. You can see the locations of various tailors in Kuttenberg listed above.
If you are low on funds, you do have a more nefarious option. Journey anywhere on the map, and you are bound to run into some bandits or thieves, who will most likely be wearing clothes that will get you into the monastery just fine. Just don’t tell the monks what you did to get them.
