ShackStream: STALKER 2 Update 1.7 new save using Shackmaps interactive map

We’re digging into a more immersive Zone than ever before and we’re using the newly released STALKER 2 Shackmap to navigate.

It’s been a while since I’ve played STALKER 2. It was a beloved title for Shacknews in 2024 and it just keeps improving as GSC Game World keeps adding to it with massive updates. Such was the case with the new Update 1.7 that added faction territory warfare and other awesome features. It’s got me excited to dig back into the game, and the timing is right because Shacknews just released its own STALKER 2: Heart of Chornobyl interactive map on Shackmaps.

STALKER 2’s Update 1.7, dubbed the Expedition Update, launched earlier this week, bringing with it a ton of new features including faction territory wars, the new Expedition Mode, and plenty more. It comes on top of plenty of other excellent additions to the game that I haven’t experienced for myself. With that, I’m excited to jump back in, and with it I’ll be showing off our newly released STALKER 2 Shackmap, built to aid in our navigation of goodies and trouble in the Zone.

Join us as we play STALKER 2: Heart of Chornobyl on the Shacknews Twitch channel, Twitter, and Facebook at around 3 p.m. PT / 6 p.m. ET. You can also watch below.

It’s a pleasure to be able to bring you a variety of Shacknews content and we hope you enjoy our video endeavors. We couldn’t do ShackStreams like these without our viewers, so be sure to follow and subscribe to the Shacknews Twitch channel for more content. You can do it for free if you have an Amazon Prime account. Following also just keeps you up to date when we go live with shows like Pop! Goes the Culture, The Stevetendo Show, Variety Hour, and more.

The Zone appears to have changed drastically since I was last in it. We’re going to see just how much as we dive back into STALKER 2: Heart of Chornobyl Update 1.7 soon. Tune in and join the fun when we go live shortly!
