Donkey Kong Bananza DLC to get monthly in-game events

Nintendo has announced that new content is coming to Donkey Kong Bananza by way of its paid DLC. The DK Island + Emerald Rush DLC launched last month and added a new area to explore as well as a new mode for players to enjoy. Now, DLC owners will receive monthly events that can net them some exclusive in-game rewards.

Nintendo shared the announcement on its official website. These limited-time events will take place monthly and challenge players to complete special versions of the Emerald Rush challenge, which was introduced in the September DLC. Unlike standard Emerald Rush runs, these challenges will have some fixed conditions, such as available perks and Banandium Gems.

If players achieve the target score during the event period, they’ll earn Banana Chips and exclusive statues. The first event, Chip Fever, will run from October 28 to November 3. Players who beat this first set of challenges will earn statues for Kong Bananza and Enguarde.
