LPL 2023 Spring – Stats, facts and numbers

The LPL Spring regular split has officially ended and with the LPL Spring playoffs starting this week, the 10 teams are going to have a tough schedule ahead of them. While we did have some surprises, all the expected big teams were able to qualify for the second phase. That being said, only two teams will go to the Mid-Season Invitational, so the LPL Spring Playoffs have the risk of becoming a dump fire, with lots of upsets and shockers.

With that in mind, let’s rewind some of the most important stats and numbers achieved by LPL teams throughout the regular split.

10. JDG Gaming has the highest win rate in regular split

JDG not only finished first place with a 13-3, but they were also the team with the best win rate at 78%. The second-best teams were EDG and LNG, both sitting at 72%.

9. Ultra Prime had the lowest win rate and the biggest loss streak

Despite starting out decently with a 2-5 score, Ultra Prime plummeted in the second half of the split, going on an 8-loss streak which put them dead last on the standings, with only a 24% win rate. Considering former world champion jungler Ning and support Baolan were on the team, the team must bounce back next split.

8. IG back to the drawing board

Considering the hype and the results the team was achieving, especially considering they were in the top two until week 4, IG was unable to qualify for playoffs.

From 5-1, the team finished the split in 7-9, throwing one of the biggest chances to make it in the top 10. It’s unfortunate, and this might be a sign that the magical run is over.
