Woman Says Miley Cyrus Is Proof Of Her Buried Trauma

The woman at the center of a sensational legal battle says a buried childhood trauma connects her to one of the world’s biggest pop stars.

Jayme Lee claims a pregnancy at age 12, years of suppressed memories, and a secret adoption all lead back to Miley Cyrus.

Courts have dismissed her lawsuits, but Lee insists her story deserves to be heard.

The image that fuels Jayme Lee’s conviction looks ordinary at first glance. It shows a smiling girl stepping off a small red-and-white plane, flanked by grandparents beaming with pride.

Only one detail disrupts the nostalgic calm. The girl’s coat flared outward, hinting at a pregnancy she says changed her life forever. Lee claims she was carrying a child who would grow up to become Miley Cyrus.

Now 45 and living quietly in Peoria, Arizona, Lee says the photograph is proof of a truth she has been trying to establish in courtrooms across the country.

Her efforts have included multiple state and federal lawsuits asserting that she is the biological mother of the singer.

So far, two cases have been dismissed, and a Tennessee judge recently ordered her to pay Billy Ray Cyrus roughly $7,500 in legal fees.

Despite those setbacks, Lee says she is far from finished.

She plans to file a new family court case in Malibu seeking a DNA test, a move she believes could resolve the dispute once and for all.

She explained to the Daily Mail, “I never wanted to involve Miley. But she’s evidence – the evidence I have to show that I was sex trafficked and had a baby because of it.”

Growing Up Fast And Naming Miley Before The World Knew Her

Lee traces her story back to Ruidoso, New Mexico, a small mountain town where she was born Jayme Lee Paxton.

She says what should have been a peaceful childhood quickly turned dark.

According to her account, she was trafficked by local, cartel-affiliated gangs from an early age and became pregnant by 12.

She says she ran away repeatedly, seeking refuge with her grandparents in Jamul, California.

Amid that chaos, Lee says she became fiercely determined to protect the unborn child.

“I knew that I wanted to protect this baby at all costs,” she said. She claims the name came to her almost immediately. “I specifically picked the name Miley as soon as I realized I was pregnant because of all the miles I had traveled [while being sex trafficked].”

She added, “I wanted a name that was one of a kind that could be linked back to me, specifically.”

The Cyrus family’s account of the singer’s birth sharply diverges from Lee’s version.

Publicly, the star was named Destiny Hope Cyrus and later nicknamed Smiley, shortened to Miley, because of her cheerful nature.

Lee has never reconciled that difference but maintains her belief that her child was given another name after birth.

As her pregnancy progressed, Jayme Lee says she sought an unconventional solution.

She claims she approached several high-profile figures about adopting her baby, including Julia Roberts, Ozzy and Sharon Osborne, and Hillary Clinton.

According to Lee, each interaction was polite, though she admits she misrepresented her age.

“I had been telling people I was 14. I had braces, and that was helping to make me seem older than I was,” she said.

She also said she tried to prevent authorities from intervening, noting, “And I didn’t really give them much of a chance to, you know? I’m sure I also said, ‘please don’t call the police’ ahead of time because I was a runaway, and I didn’t want to get sent back to my family.”

After those efforts failed, Lee claims she turned to Dolly Parton. She says her grandfather, George, drove her to Tennessee, where they approached the country legend after a performance at the Grand Ole Opry.

According to Lee, Parton was warm but declined to adopt a child, instead pointing her toward Billy Ray Cyrus, who had just found fame with “Achy Breaky Heart.”

Billy Ray Cyrus has denied every aspect of Lee’s account. After one case was dismissed, he described the allegations as false and absurd, noting that private adoptions without court approval are not legally permissible in Tennessee.

A Disputed Birth Story Involving Miley Cyrus And California

Lee disputes the commonly reported details of the singer’s birth. She insists the alleged adoption took place in California, not Tennessee.

According to her, she gave birth alone in Ocean Beach and later handed the baby over to Billy Ray Cyrus and his then-wife, Tish, at a rental home in Encinitas.

She claims the arrangement was meant to be an open adoption, but says Billy Ray later broke that agreement.

She says she has not seen the child she believes is Miley Cyrus since that moment.

In a strange twist, Lee says she later sought legal help from the Kardashian family, claiming they lived next door to her grandparents in Jamul and could guide her to an attorney.

Though no evidence supports that connection, every member of the family was named in a California lawsuit that has since been dismissed.

That suit included an allegation that a then-12-year-old Kim Kardashian caused a car accident that led to Lee being returned to her parents in New Mexico. The claim was rejected along with the rest of the filing.
