Welcome to 2024! Here at SFF headquarters, the team is exhilarated about the year ahead. We’re into our 71st year, but we still have surprises up our sleeves, and we can’t wait to share them with you. As we speak, our programmers are sifting through thousands of films, selecting the best to light up the screens of our wonderful city in June. Make sure you don’t miss a frame.

Mar 13: Subscriptions go on sale for everyone! Secure your own special seat for the whole Festival and immerse yourself in a world of cinema.
Apr 3: Sneak peek! We announce the first films of the Festival.
April – May: Stay tuned – more films announced and on sale including our Opening Night Film and Gala!
May 8: Full program announced and on sale (Flexipass holders will get first dibs!)
Jun 5 – 16: The 71st Sydney Film Festival
