Melinda can’t get enough of the protein ice cream she’s been making for months since she got her appliance. Check out the recipe she’s been using and some helpful tips now that she’s perfected her method below.
Not only are the results insanely delicious, but the Ninja Creami has helped her stay on track to meet her daily protein goal. Her recipe is SO customizable and easy to make. Plus, it’s way more cost-effective than buying any of the popular pre-made protein ice creams that easily cost $5+ per pint!
Melinda’s Protein Ice Cream Recipe:
INGREDIENTS –
- 1 Fairlife Protein Shake (Chocolate is her favorite but can use any flavor!)
- 10 grams of sugar-free pudding mix (any flavor)
- 1 tsp of vanilla extract
- Toppings & Mix-Ins (Optional)
DIRECTIONS:
-Pour all ingredients into a Creami Pint. Mix together with a whisk or frother.
-Put the mixture in the freezer overnight or for a minimum of 8 hours.
-Remove from the freezer and let it defrost a bit (this step is optional.)
-Blend on the ice cream or light ice cream setting.
-Remove after the first spin is finished. It will look powdery and not smooth and creamy. That’s normal. Scoop out a bit to make a small hole and add a splash of milk (any kind).
-Spin again on the ice cream setting. Remove, stir, spin, remove, stir. Repeat as needed. (She repeats this step 3-4 times until it’s a soft-serve ice cream consistency.)
-Add toppings & mix-ins if desired. (The possibilities are endless. Melinda tops hers with 20 grams of hot fudge and 12 grams of whipped – YUM!)

Me and my kiddos whipped up delicious Eggnog Ice Cream using just ONE ingredient! Seriously… just one ingredient, friends. What more can I say?! If you’ve passed over ice cream makers in the past because they’re ‘too much effort’ or require too many ingredients, trust me when I say this Ninja Creami is NOT that!
I know we’re all here for the end result (what the treats taste like) but can I just say the fact that there are SO few pieces, the cleanup is crazy-easy, it has dishwasher-safe parts, AND it practically makes itself just makes me want to use it that much more! It’s not a hassle like so many of these fancy appliances can be.
