This blanket is perfect! One side is truly cooling – I run warm while I sleep but still want a blanket on me. I’ve been able to grab this blanket and use the cooling side in the middle of the night. I wasn’t sure about it at first but it actually cools me down and is nice and soft and comfy as well. Since it’s only cooling on one side, I’ll still be able to use it as a throw even in the colder months. The yellow is a soft, almost pastel-y color and is machine washable, which helps when my dog gets her hair all over it! I’ve recommended this to friends and family now.
I have tried cooling sheets, pillows, chill pads in my pillows, pjs, mattress pads, fans, blankets, you name it and nothing has consistently given me any cooling comfort when I sleep until now. I have been using this under the sheet against my skin and it has stayed cooler longer than anything else I’ve tried. If I can keep the dogs away from me at night, I can actually have a cool restful night’s sleep!
I wake up during the night restless and warm. It takes a long time for me to get back to sleep. Now when I wake up I throw off my warm blanket and pull the cooling throw over me. I’m back to sleep in less than a minute. LOVE IT!
