A 40-year-old moped rider was killed when he collided with an SUV driver making a turn at a Queens intersection, police said Tuesday.
The victim was heading east on Jamaica Ave. in Hollis when got into a crash with a Honda CR-V making a left turn off 204th St. about 10:30 p.m. Monday, cops said. He was thrown from his moped by the impact.
Medics rushed the vitim to North Shore University Hospital, where he died. His name was not immediately released.
The 23-year-old woman driving the SUV remained at the scene and faced no immediate charges as cops continue to investigate.
