As a shopping writer at The Kitchn, I have tried out tons of cookware — pots, pans, braisers, Dutch ovens, stainless steel, nonstick, cast-iron, you name it. So when I learned that Guy Fieri was launching ceramic cookware, I was intrigued. I’ve been a fan of the Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives host for years and recently tried his award-winning Top Secret Sauce, which has quickly become a favorite condiment in my home.

So I got a set to try out for myself, and honestly I’m shocked by how much I’ve been using every part of it. The pots and pans are so good, I don’t even want to reach for my longtime faves. I see you, Mr. Mayor of Flavortown.

What You Should Know About Guy Fieri’s Flavortown 6-Piece Ceramic Cookware Set

Guy Fieri’s Flavortown offers a few different types of cookware: stainless steel, laser titanium, and as of September, ceramic. And the brand didn’t stop there with the new ceramic line. This month, it welcomed more colors and more set sizes, so you have plenty of options to fit your kitchen.

The ceramic cookware is available in sets of two all the way up to 15, and come in three colors: red, black, and a two-toned blue and white. The two-piece set is on sale for $70 right now, while the 15-piece set goes for $250.

I ordered the red six-piece set, which includes a 3.2-quart sauté pan with a lid, 8- and 10.2-inch frying pans, and a 2-quart saucepan with a lid. They’re dishwasher- and oven-safe (up to 450°F), too. This set is currently on sale for $150 instead of its usual $250 price and would make an amazing holiday gift for a home cook — especially if they, too, are a Guy Fieri fan.

My Honest Review of Guy Fieri’s Flavortown 6-Piece Ceramic Cookware Set

Nonstick pans are my go-to. So, this ceramic cookware set was already quite at home in my kitchen because of its PFAS-, PFOA-, PTFE-, cadmium-, and lead-free nonstick coating. I can tell you the 8-inch frying pan is easily the one I use the most, simply because I scramble eggs in it for breakfast. It’s the one item from the set I use every single day without fail.

The other three pots and pans get plenty of play in my kitchen, just depending on what I’m cooking. I love the bigger frying pan for griddling sandwiches, heating frozen dumplings, and cooking shrimp. The saucepan is perfect for making savory oatmeal lunches and fluffy couscous, while the sauté pan is best for bigger jobs, like cooking off ground turkey for taco night or simmering meatballs in sauce.

There are some Guy Fieri touches on the cookware, like a flame detail where the handles meet the pans and his signature on each piece of cookware that I could perhaps do without, but it does add a little fun to each pan.

I’m truly impressed by how slick the surface is, how easy it is to cook with and clean, and how evenly the pans heat. Plus, the handles are comfortable to hold and use, and I never have to worry about them getting too hot to touch. In Guy Fieri’s words, it’s “outta bounds” how good this set is.
