Terrifier 3 Will Bring Back Art the Clown in a Christmas-themed Sequel
With the trailer for Terrifier 3 released online earlier this week, audiences will get a chance to see David Howard Thornton return as Art the Clown in a Christmas-themed horror film in 2024. Featuring a bigger budget, and bigger kills, director Damien Leone has promised that he will “continue to push boundaries” for the latest installment in the franchise.
Terrifier 2 was produced on a budget of just $250,000 and drew in over $15 million dollars at the box office with its initial, three-week run, and recent re-lease on November 1st, 2023. With critics praising the film for outdoing the original, it wasn’t without its detractors, who have lambasted the series for being nothing more than a showcase for gore and violence against women. Regardless, fans of the Terrifier franchise are eagerly awaiting the release of the third film, and now they’ll have even more to sink their teeth into thanks to the novelizations, which could expand even further on the lore created by Leone. Terrifier 3 hits theaters nationwide on October 25, 2024, and you can watch the new trailer for the film below.
