The first eight finalists for PUBG Esports PGS Stage 2 event are now set.
The Soniqs are back to their winning ways, absolutely dominating the Winners Bracket and punching their ticket to the Grand Finals. At the “bottom” of the winning lot, is Gen.G who managed to slither in with only a point advantage over the 9th and 10th placed teams.

Two players form our Top 10 PUBG Players list are now set for the finals. Both TGLTN and Pio have punched their ticket forward.
Soniqs put on a show, Gen.G catch the last train out
From positional play to high intensity compound crashes, the Soniqs have it all. We are witnessing a new evolution of this roster, as they take PUBG Esports to a whole new level. Gone are the days of cocky crashes, bad rotations and Pochinki duels for pure ego. The new Soniqs take their time, play edge, set up mortar shots and methodically cleanse the lobbies.
Consistency is key this time around, as they managed to rack up the most placement points in the bracket and earn runner up in total kills. It may not be (always) as flashy as before, but its paying dividends.
Gen.G caught a lucky break on the second day of Bracket Stage after an abysmal performance in five consecutive matches. In the final match of the day they earned 5 kills and 3rd in placements to barely edge out ahead of TyLoo and Petrichor Road. Pio just couldn’t get his sneaky, lurky style going, ending up caught out in four of the five matches.
Between these two extremes, we witnessed both FaZe Clan and T5 have an amazing day. The former earning two early wins and the latter fragging out the lobby in almost every match. Cerberos, Danawa had decent showings in at least two matches to earn enough points to punch their tickets in.

The PUBG PGS 2 Elimination Bracket Awaits
The eight “losers” from the Winners Bracket and all the teams that performed poorly in Groups are set to play 12 rounds and decide the remaining eight teams in the final. We have plenty of heavy hitters in this bracket as well.
We have PGC champions NAVI, PGS 1 winners 17 Gaming, Regional Champions from three out of five regions (DayTrade, 4AM, Luminosity) and plenty of top tier heavy hitters in the Losers Bracket.

With only eight spots up for grabs, expect an all out war in the next two days. Losers Bracket matches officially start today (Tuesday, 15th August) at 13:00 CET.
